My name is Kamala Kara Arroyo (previously Nicholas Arroyo). I am a game developer who primarily makes tabletop roleplaying games. My games usually end up being a mashup of other systems and ideas as I find a lot of fun in trying new things with existing mechanics. My games are a bit experimental.
Most of my larger, complete titles are released through publishers and thus do not appear on this webpage. This profile page is primarily where I release SRDs to put my ideas into the open so other game developers can easily and confidently borrow my ideas for use in their own work. I am a strong believer in open licenses due to my somewhat-controversial belief that, as practiced in the United States where ones ability to enforce the right is dependent on ones financial prowess, copyright law binds artists but does not protect them and protects corporations but does not bind them. As such, a lot of what I work is available on an open license, such as the already released Friendship, Effort, Victory. I prefer the Creative Commons License.
